All you need to know
Kessock Equine Vets was founded on the 1st January 2004, by Keith Chandler. The practice was only ambulatory at the start, but soon grew to need premises and our purpose built clinic was opened in June 2007. The practice has grown to employ over 12 people in a mixture of part-time and full-time roles and provides a valuable and unique service to horse owners and the equestrian community of the Highlands.
If you require advice from a veterinary surgeon, then our staff will take the details and a vet will contact you at some point during the day. This may be much later, so if your query is urgent please advise our staff at the time. Out of our normal working hours, please dial our normal number.
Payment can be made in cash, BACs, debit and all major credit cards. Card payments can be taken over the phone during normal working hours. If your horse is insured, please notify the insurance company as soon as possible and pass on the claim form to us for completion. You do not need to wait until the end of the course of treatment to make a claim; this enables your insurers to reimburse your outlay as you go along. Check the small print of your policy to check what is or is not covered before you embark on a course of treatment. Prompt payment of your account enables us to keep our charges as low as possible. Interest will be added to accounts which are not settled promptly. Full terms and conditions can be requested from our reception staff.
