Krista Middleton

Krista joined Kessock Equine Vets in 2013 as one of our Stable Assistants and worked her way up to Stable Manager a couple of years later. Krista has always had a passion for Equine Nursing and wanted to pursue this career pathway and went on to gain her BTEC level 2 Diploma as an Equine Nursing Technician with distinction in 2016. Krista then went on to continue her studies with The Open College of Equine Studies in Suffolk and gained her qualification as a Registered Equine Veterinary Nurse in 2024.
Krista is very passionate about caring for her patients and has a keen interest in radiography and caring for the geriatric equine.

In her spare time, you will find Krista at home on her family farm looking after her own horses, flock of pedigree sheep and highland cattle. She also enjoys long walks with her dog Mac, running and mountain biking.
